This 100mL Whirl-Pak® Stand-Up Thio-Bag® makes the job of collecting water samples much easier. A special gusset on the bottom of the bag flattens out when water is put in the bag, allowing it to stand up completely by itself. No rack or other holder is needed to keep the bag upright. No need to wash and sterilize glass bottles and dispose of expensive vials. This sterile and unbreakable bag will save time and money whether working in the lab or in the field. Each bag contains 10mg of active sodium thiosulfate to neutralize chlorine in the sample. Capacity is measured in fluid ounces when the bag is closed and tab is folded over three times. Volume and dimensions are approximate; bag should not be used at temperatures above 180°F (82°C). Bag can be frozen to any temperature, even liquid nitrogen (careful handling required after freezing). Sterilized after manufacturing. Sterile. Material: Polyethylene. Feature: Self-Standing.
