These molded plastic Petri dish racks are ideal for storage, transport and and incubation of both Petri dishes and contact plates. The base of the rack is large enough for great stability and small enough for conserving valuable lab benchtop space. Racks are designed to streamline your sample processing. Up to four of these racks can be stacked on top of one another with molded interlocking grooves to prevent accidental tubles and spills. A tall divided center plate furnishes adequate space for labeling and includes a carrying handle which doesn't interfere with dishes and plates. Racks feature six slotted columns which are designed to stack Petri dishes and contact plates. Dishes and plates are safely removed from the rack with the thumb and fingers. The rack is manufactures from white polypropylene which is steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). Racks are shipped flat and easily assembled.
