The unique shape of this non-vacuum desiccator offers maximum interior clearances for more or larger contents without further crowding the benchtop. The thick walls ensure a rugged shatter resistant unit. The top section can be lifted off using the large ribbed knob at the top center. The desiccator lid includes a neoprene O-ring gasket seal which does not require stopcock grease. However, stopcock grease may be used for a more secure seal and will not harm the gasket or desiccator. A rigid, perforated polypropylene desiccator plate supports the contents and leaves space underneath for desiccant. The 1/8-Inch thick desiccator plate has a 140mm diameter and is removable. Ideal for use with either disposable or reusable desiccant. Replacement parts are available.
