This 10.5L PYREX® vacuum desiccator has a rugged 24/29 Standard Taper external sleeve with a tooled hose connection that serves as the stopcock. It is designed so that its manipulation is not affected by the vacuum. The open position is indicated by the molded arrow on the cap. A quarter turn from this position closes the desiccator. For ease in use and improved performance, it is recommended that the Standard Taper sleeve be lubricated with a silicone-based vacuum grease. The tubulation O.D. is approximately 10mm. Bowl capacity is 10500mL. Warning: Do not heat or subject to pressure. Rated 1-atmosphere vacuum. Material: Borosilicate Glass Code 7740. Capacity: 10.5 Liters. Dessicator Style: Vacuum. Reuseable.
