This AxyPrep™ Body Fluid Viral DNA/RNA Miniprep kit provides a rapid and highly reproducible way to purify viral nucleic acid from 250mL of body fluid, including plasma, serum, ascites, cerebrospinal fluid, urine, cell culture supernatant, etc. During lysis, proteins and PCR inhibitors are removed by denaturation and precipitation. Viral nucleic acids remain soluble in the supernatant and are purified by binding to a special AxyPrep column.
