This KIMAX funnel has reinforced construction with extra glass provided around the stopcock and a drip tip. It is supplied with a PTFE stopcock whose barrel features a mirror finish to take full advantage of the natural lubricity. The plugs operate smoothly without grease and are interchangeable. The lower stems have an I.D. large enough for a column of liquid to "break" with the stopcock closed thereby allowing more complete separation and eliminating the necessity of emptying the funnel.
