115V Rapid Digestor-25. Provides rapid digestions for nitrogen determination of 1 to 25 samples up to 2g using 250ml tubes. Constructed of 25 individual ceramic heaters surrounded by 1" thick insulation board housed in chemically-etched aluminum casing with two fold-down handles. A heater element is encapsulated in each heater module. Five RTD platinum temperature sensors are encased in the ceramic and send signals to the controller. Capable of reaching 410°C in less than one hour. Separate controller has power switch and a solid-state stepless temperature control knob, factory calibrated from ambient to 450°C. Features a 6-foot electrical cord and 7-foot electrical line to connect the digestor to the controller. Electrical plug is required (not included). Includes carrier rack made of aluminum alloy with two plastic handles and two removable heat shields. Requires 250ml Digestion Tubes and fume removal system (not included).
