This 100 x 15mm automation Bi-Plate Petri dish is designed for simultaneous studies of organisms in a common environment. It features two marked compartments for easy identification. Tne Petri dish is molded from medical grade virgin polystyrene, with optically-clear top and bottom viewing surfaces. It comes with a specially designed 'slippable' lid that has no stacking rim that makes it ideal for use with automated equipment. It also has a raised partition, side arrows, and an ISO Mark Target for orientation in automation. This dish has ventilation ribs that allow for free air circulation and reduce condensation during incubation, with a constant flatness that allows for even media distribution. The flared lid skirt and squared corners offer easy one hand operation, especially with gloves. This disposable, single-use Petri dish is radiation sterilized and the contents are sterile if the packaging sleeve is unopened. It is traceable by lot and sku number, and Certificate of Sterilization Processing and Certificate of Compliance are available upon request. It is ideal for general microbiological use.
