The Helix Model 150BLR orbital shaker is designed for mixing and cell cultivation use in an array of laboratory settings, including within a 37°C CO2 incubator. The remotely controlled shaker can be placed within an incubator and controlled externally via a 12 foot umbilical cable. The long lasting brushless DC motor provides quiet operation and consistent shaking speed independent of the load or power supply fluctuations. It can be used in either timed (5 minutes to 16 hours) or continuous mode, and features audible alarms, with an audible buzzer when timed mode reaches zero. It has a slow ramping start-up feature to reduce potential splashing. The timer and speed are indicated on discrete LED displays. It has rotary knobs for setting speed and time, and has an active feedback speed control. It includes a medical grade universal AC wall supply with interchangeable plugs.
