The Millipore Fluoropore™ membrane filter is a hydrophobic PTFE membrane which excludes the normal high density polyethylene support disc. Fluoropore™ PTFE membrane filters provide broad chemical compatibility and are suitable for use with virtually all aggressive chemicals, reagents and solvents. PTFE filters can be rendered to be hydrophilic membranes by wetting them with methanol or any other low surface tension liquid.
