This non-cytotoxic, non-pyrogenic device features Express® PLUS polyethersulfone membrane filter (0.22µm pore size) for fast sterilization of tissue culture media, serum, buffers, or other biological solutions. It can be used to fill any vacuum-rated bottle or other container with an inner neck diameter of 20 to 67mm. Includes inlet hose barb fitting which accepts standard laboratory vacuum tubing. Ideal for purifcation and sterilization of tissue culture media and additives, protein solutions, virus suspensions, DNA, and other aqueous solutions. Bottle top filter unit also features an upstream air vent to help prevent filter air lock. Filter Material: Hydrophilic Polyethersulfone. Process Volume Capacity: 5,000-10,000ml.
