These Millipore glass filter holders are designed for bacteriological analysis of water using 47mm sterile membrane filters. These glass filter holders are also ideal for analysis of suspended solids in water using 47mm depth filters. Glass filter holders may be sanitized with either hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. They may be sterilized by autoclaving for twenty minutes at 121°C or by a UV sterilizer for two to three minutes. Filter holders have a 300mL Capacity. Filter holder assembly includes 300mL borosilicate glass funnel and base, a course-frit glass fiber filter support, perforated neoprene stopper and an anodized aluminum spring-action clamp.
