The Millipore Hydrosol™ stainless steel vacuum filter holder is designed for either particulate or biological contamination analysis through vacuum filtration and used of 47mm membrane filters. This vacuum filter holder includes a grounding set for use when filtering flammable liquids. The filter holder is not autoclavable when a membrane filter is in place. However, the stainless steel construction of the filter holder is fully autoclavable for sterile applications when sterilized by itself. Warning: When filtering flammable liquids, you must ground unit with the included grounding screw, lead and alligator clip.
