This acrylic syringe filter utilizes the universal tissue culture membrane polyethersulfone (PES). This membrane offers higher flow rates lower protein binding and lower extractables than competitive cellulosic membranes. Inherently hydrophilic it contains no external wetting agents. The sample volume range is 10-50mL with a 0.45µm filter pore size. The filter is supplied in a sterile acrylic housing each of which is individually blister-packed and cannot be autoclaved. WARNING! All Nalgene® Filterware is for research use only not for in vitro diagnosis or parenteral. Certified sterile non-cytotoxic and non-pyrogenic.
