This 3/8 x 21/32 x 5/32in Shore A 65 braided platinum-cured silicone tubing is manufactured with an interwoven polyester braid for additional safety, pressure, and kink resistance. The durable, high-purity tubing is designed for a variety of pump and transfer applications including pharmaceutical, laboratory, bioprocess manufacturing, and food and beverage applications. It contains no phthalate plasticizers or peroxides that can leach out into transported fluid. The low binding surface minimizes absorption of proteins and food products. Translucent tubing is tasteless, odorless, non-cytotoxic, non-pyrogenic, and non-hemolytic. Meets FDA, USDA, U.S. Pharmacopeia Class VI, 24th Edition requirements for plastic materials, and 3A sanitary standards. Not intended for invasive use. This autoclavable tubing can also be sterilized by gamma radiation, ETO, and chemical procedures. Supplied double-bagged in a case of 25ft (7.6m). Autoclavable. Translucent.
