This upright benchtop beta shield is made of 1/2 inch (12mm) thick acrylic. It is ideal for use with instruments and chromatography columns. The large base provides increased stability. WARNING! Radioactive waste should never be stored on the benchtop for long periods of time and should be disposed of properly. Proper handling and storage of isotopes will minimize exposure to radiation.
