Includes a built-in thermocouple port that will accommodate any type-K thermocouple with a mini-connector (thermocouple sold separately) - when direct contact measurement is required. The laser and LCD backlight have the capability of being turned on or off independently of each other - depending on the requirements of the applications. The LCD simultaneously displays the current temperature in °F or °C - the pre-selected emissivity - the laser scan - and battery life icons.
