Sterile 6-Inch polyester tipped applicator swab with tapered plastic shaft. These synthetic tipped applicator swabs are made of medical-grade polyester fiber that is carded in the Puritan factory to maintain consistency. These diagnostic/specimen swabs are non-absorbent and contain no fatty acids or laten sugars which make them ideal for specimen transport, lab work and diagnostic kits. The polyester tips are bonded securely to a tapered plastic handle by an aqueous based adhesive. This applicator swab can be used as a male or female specimen collection device.
