It comes with a solid top 8-425 black phenolic closure with a 14B white rubber liner. Both cap and liner are autoclavable and have substantial resistance to chemicals, acids, and bases. This combination is ideal for general sampling needs without the added cost of PTFE. The clear polystyrene Vial File™ case has a hinged lid and alphanumerical indexing for the individual vial partitions, with foam inserts to provide extra protection for the vials.
