The DPS-20® Dual Processing System is a revolutionary product in the sample preparation field. This system combines mechanical and ultrasonic homogenizing methods in a closed, compact, fully automated and time-saving homogenizing unit. The three-in-one design of the DPS-20® allows the system to be used as a (1) Automated Ultrasonic Homogenizing System, (2) Automated Mechanical Homogenizing System or (3) Automated Mechanical and Ultrasonic Homogenizing System.
This advanced dual homogenizing system allows the maximum in choice and control to best support your laboratory’s processing needs. The DPS-20® merges the advantages of each homogenizing method to make it the most efficient, time-saving and flexible homogenizing system on the market. Mechanical or ultrasonic homogenizing can be used together or independently of each other. It provides faster and more efficient sample breakdown with minimal or no heat introduced and more precise particle size reduction -- all within a noise-reducing enclosure. Its automation capability allows for repeat processing and consistent results which frees up your time for other work around the laboratory.
A high-performance, brushless motor powers the mechanical homogenizer while the 130-watt ultrasonic processor delivers constant amplitude throughout processing. The sound-abating enclosure has LED interior lighting and a clear polycarbonate door for full view of the inside contents. This system can be used with 15mL, 16mL, 19mL and 50mL centrifuge tubes or culture tubes through its unique carousel rack design. Additional carousel racks can be purchased for quicker load time. Up to 20 samples can be processed in one run, or include two rinse positions or setup for every other position to be a rinse position. A typical run time for 20 samples is under 10 minutes. Onboard computing allows the DPS-20® homogenizer system store up to 10 different homogenizing programs in memory, or it can be used in the manual mode for individual sample processing. After selecting your DPS-20® system, please select your necessary carousel package(s).
PRO Scientific D-Series® Digital Benchtop Homogenizers offer the perfect balance of power and superior performance. Combing a high watt motor and advanced technology in digital speed controls has resulted in the most reliable and durable laboratory benchtop homogenizer. All models feature variable speed control to adjust rotations in increments of 100rpm and a bright LED display for a user-friendly operation experience. The homogenizers also include a PRO TRAC motorized homogenizer stand developed by PRO Scientific for effortless, accurate, and smooth motor position. With a sample volume range capability from micro-liters to liters, these benchtop homogenizers demonstrate enormous processing versatility. They are designed to homogenize, emulsify, blend, and/or mix organic and inorganic materials. The entire line of PRO Quick Connect® homogenizer generator probes can be mounted to these homogenizers. PRO Safety Seal® tube chamber assemblies can also be used with them as well. These homogenizing chamber assemblies feature a sealing mechanism which protects the operator from hazardous aerosols that could be generated during processing and protects the sample from external contaminants.
Responding to a need for homogenizers that can run repetitive batch processing with a minimum of operator attention, PRO developed the computer-interfaced PC-Series® benchtop homogenizer. These digital benchtop homogenizers can be programmed either from the unit's touchpad or from your own laptop or desktop computer with the included PROgrammable® homogenization software. An infinite number of programs can be created and stored, each consisting of up to 23 unique cycles defining speed, run time and pause between each cycle. At any point the homogenizer can be overridden and manual control resumed. The PRO Scientific PRO 300PC programmable digital homogenizer meets industry requirements for verification of processing and documentation maintenance. As homogenization proceeds, data can be graphed on the computer screen. Both the programs and the data collected (set time and set speed versus actual time and actual speed) can be stored and recalled for screen display or printout.
