UVP® Pen-Ray® field packs combine a Pen-Ray® UV light source and DC power supply (with 9V battery) in a compact, portable package. These are lightweight and small enough to fit in a pocket or to be carried by the belt clip attached to the power supply. UV light sources are available with your choice of options for customization or in three standard configurations. The UV lamp connector is located on the outside of the power supply for this configuration only. Other configurations come with the light source permanently connected to the power supply.
The UVP® Pen-Ray® CP series calibration UV lamp is manufactured from the highest grade of quartz and mercury components. Provides the full mercury spectrum. Requires 44-0002-01 DC power supply. Extremely small dimensions without handles for portable and/or limited design space applications.
The ® Pen-Ray® standard mercury lamps are low pressure, cold cathode UV lamps manufactured from the highest grade of quartz material. This design allows the electrodes to be positioned at one end of the lamp providing easy access into small apertures. These are individually created by master craftsmen to ensure quality and reliability. These UV mercury lamps provide a high degree of stable, isolated spectral line accuracy and long life (3000+ hrs). The mercury lamp emits mercury spectrum with the primary energy. The UVP® Pen-Ray® stable ozone generator produces a continuous flow of ozone and designed for calibration of field and laboratory Ozone analyzers. This utilizes the photochemical reaction of oxygen under shortwave (185nm) UV to produce a continuous flow of Ozone. A power supply included feeds reliable and stable power to the lamps providing uniform Ozone generation. A stable source for instrument development and oxidant source for aging and oxidant testing of materials. Consists of a pair of double bore UV lamps attached to one handle for greater ozone volume generation. They incorporate Pen-Ray® UV lamps which are inserted into the generator box and can be removed and used in other applications. Designed for water purification, air pollution studies.
The UVP® Pen-Ray® rare gas UV lamp design incorporates the Pen-Ray® 11SC-1 UV lamp body and replaces the mercury with other reactive ingredients. Rare gases available include Argon, Krypton, Neon, Xenon and Neon-Mercury. Gas combinations and alternative body designs are also available as custom products -- Please inquire.
The UVP® Pen-Ray® UV Zinc Lamp is designed primarily for use with the UV absorption cells and detectors. The electrical Leads enter the lamp base at the perimeter of the base. These lamps can also substitute for Deuterium lamps in some applications due to the Zinc lamps superior thermal stability, long life and prominent 214nm energy peak. Designed for air pollution monitoring, analytical instrumentation, wavelength calibration, spectroscopy.

The UVP® Pen-Ray® grid lamp is available with either straight or bent electrodes are designed for stable, low-noise operation. Allows the electrodes to be positioned at one end of the lamp providing easy access into small apertures. Manufactured with standard or ozone free Quartz materials. UV grid lamps provide irradiance uniformity over the entire grid area. Custom reflectors and configurations are available. The intensity at 254nm wavelength is from 14 to 20+ mW/cm² at 1in using the recommended power supply. UV grid lamps are ideal for flat panel display applications. Soft glass is phosphored at 445nm. Designed for UV curing, EPROM erasure and transillumination applications.
Pen-Ray® UV lamp power supplies are available with either AC or DC power configuration. The power supply modules provide proper voltage and current for starting and operating the lamps.
