3M™ Aluminum Foil Tape 425 features a dead-soft aluminum foil backing which provides excellent heat and light reflection to protect against high temperatures and UV degradation. The foil tape also serves as an excellent barrier against moisture, dust, flame, and certain chemicals as used in aircraft paint stripping masking. Acrylic adhesive supplies superior temperature, UV and solvent resistance. Aluminum Foil Tape provides excellent age life and is ideal for harsh, long-term outdoor environments. Meets requirements of F.A.R. 25.853(a). Can be certified to meet SAE-AMS-T-23397 and L-T-80B. Temperature Range: -65°F to 300°F.
