The Pocket Honey Refractometer - PAL-22S can measure the % water content of honey easily and displays readings digitally. The PAL-22S is water resistant (rated at IP65) - so clean up of viscous samples can be done easily by placing the instrument under running water. This refractometer is light & compact - only 100g. It is ergonomically designed for one-handed operation. The speedy performance of the PAL-22S is amazing. Simply put 2 to 3 drops of a sample on the prism surface and press the START key. The measurement will be displayed in just 3 seconds. The sample stage is designed to keep sample solutions from spilling out. The Automatic Temperature Compensation function enables you to take measurement readings regardless of the ambient temperature. Calibration is performed with water only.
