- Clear, transparent polycarbonate top and bottom sections provide 360° full-view inside the desiccator.
- Includes 190mm diameter desiccator plate.. Height: 260mm. I.D.: 197mm. Flange O.D.: 230mm. Clearance Above Plate: 157mm.
- Vacuum tubing connects to the vacuum stopcok port on the upper half which leaves the bottom sample loaded section free to be moved around the lab benchtop.
- Highly visible red stopcock handle features a vacuum port which accepts 1/4-Inch (6.4mm) I.D. vacuum tubing.
- Strong, shatter-proof desiccator will hold a full vacuum with a rating of 29.9-Inches Hg (759mm) at room temperature for 24 hours.

The space saving design of the vacuum desiccator dome provides maximum interior clearances. This provides an average of 13% greater interior volume than standard hemispherical domes. This economical desiccator will remain air tight even when not under vacuum. A polypropylene stopcock with a Teflon® TFE plug turns smoothly allowing a slow, gentle entrance of air preventing unnecessary turbulence and crucible damage. The desiccator lid includes a neoprene O-ring gasket seal which does not require stopcock grease. However, stopcock grease may be used for a more secure seal and will not harm the gasket or desiccator. The bottom plate also features 1/8-Inch diameter perforations for air transfer and is 1/8-Inch thick. The plate rests on the retaining ledge of the bottom section and has a center hole for easy removal.
