This tissue float bath is designed especially for tests and procedures using tissue cultures. Typical use is in the preparation of tissue paraffin sections and the elimination of wrinkles and distortions of the tissue sections. Round, seamless, sheet aluminum bath is insulated with fiberglass. Chamber dimensions: 8 ¼" diameter, 2" deep. Temperature range: 35° to 65° C. Baked gray enamel exterior with cover. Surface is black porcelain, enamel-coated steel. The warm broad edge of the bath is a convenient drying surface for processed slides. Complete with thermostat reference dial and knob, thermometer holder, neon pilot, 18-gauge three-wire rubber safety cord and plug, and skid-resistant feet. Boekel#: 14792.
