This TropiCooler has a dynamic temperature range -19°C to +69°C, which makes it extremely versatile. Microprocessor controlled temperature selection. Large LCD is easily seen throughout the lab. This compact and efficient unit has rapid equilibration time, which enables it to store frozen restriction enzymes in the morning and hybridize DNA in the afternoon. It can also maintain a single, dedicated temperature setting. Unit can be set in 1° increments. TropiCooler™ incubator utilizes Peltier thermoelectric heating and cooling heat pumps that use no compressors or CFC's and is microprocessor-controlled. Dry heat and cold are excellent alternative to ice buckets and water baths. Supplied with two machined aluminum blocks each with a capacity for 14 x 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes. Block has a self-contained recessed handle for easy transport. Accuracy: ± 1.0° C from set point. Chamber Dimensions (W x L x H): 2¼" x 3½" x 1½". Shipping Weight: 17 Lbs (7.7 kg).
