This 24 x 24-Inch BriskHeat® SRX silicone heater blanket is rated for use in hazardous areas. The high-limit thermostat is designed to keep the blanket below NEC article 500 T4A-rating temperature of 248°F (120°C) with an actual high limit thermostat of 158°F (70°C). Suitable for use on metal surfaces and a large range of surfaces like tanks, hoppers, conveyers, silos and more. It is moisture, chemical and radiation resistant with exceptional durability and comes with an easy-to-apply industrial-strength pressure sensitive adhesive backing. The patented heating element is laminated between two layers of 23mil and two layers of 25mil fiberglass-reinforced silicone rubber and is grounded to meet NEC 427.23. It has an exposure temperature range of -60°F to 400°F (-51°C to 204°C). The standard power density is 2.5watts/sq in (0.004watts/sq mm). The SRX hazardous area silicone heater blanket is equipped with 12-Inch silicone rubber-coatedpower leads with a bare wire connection and a 0.75in (19mm) conduit fitting.
