BriskHeat® SLCAB Self-Regulating Heat Cable

BriskHeat® T6-rated SLCAB self-regulating heat cable is designed for use in wet or weak chemical environments (i.e. weak acids). SLCAB heating cable is moisture- chemical- and flame-resistant. Ideal for freeze protection and low temperature process maintenance of up to 150F (66°C). Automatically adjusts heat output based on surface temperature Safe to overlap and to insulate and can be cut-to-length and terminated in the field. BriskHeat® T6-rated SLCAB do not require a temperature controller. Self-regulating heating cable consists of two nickle coated copper 16AWG bus wires with a self-regulating, irradiation cross-linked conductive core and a modified polyolefin inner jacket (tinned copper or stainless steel metallic overshield is sold separately). Withstands intermittent exposure temperature of 185°F (85°C) maximum. FM and CSA compliant for safety certification.
