This Corning® DNA-BIND® 1 x 8 Stripwell™ 96-Well microplate is made of clear polystyrene. The flat bottomed microplate is designed to easily break apart and is pre-assembled in an 'egg-crate' style strip holder that allows each individual well to be postioned back into the plate once broken. DNA-BIND® surface covalently binds to amine groups, and provides a convenient method to covalently immobilize aminated ssDNA by either the 5’ or 3’ end for hybridization and/or amplification, and for other DNA-based assays. Recommended working volume of 75 to 200µL. The 1 x 8 strips fit only one way into the strip holder, eliminating the chance of misorientation. Lid is not available for this microplate. Non-sterile.
