This Corning® 384-well solid black polystyrene microplate has flat-bottom square shaped wells with a well volume of 112µL and a recommended working volume of 20 to 80µL. It is ideal for today's more sensitive assays and plate readers. Black wall plate has reduced autofluorescence, higher signal to background ratio and lower CV's. Nonbinding (NBS) surface is a Corning® proprietary treatment technology used on polystyrene microplates to create a nonionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) that minimizes molecular interactions. Ideal for reducing protein and nucleic acid binding at low concentrations, and increasing assay signal to noise. It conforms to standard microplate footprint and dimensions.
