Corning® 3884 | 96-Well x 190µL Half Area Clear Flat Bottom Assay Microplate without Lid, NBS™ Treated White Polystyrene, Non-Sterile (Case of 100)

NOTICE: While we make every effort to accurately report lead times, unfortunately, Corning products often have a prolonged ship date/lead time. Please be aware before ordering this Corning item.

Cancelled orders will incur a 10% cancellation fee imposed by Corning, so keep this in mind before ordering.
  • White 96-well half area microplate has clear flat-bottom round shaped wells with a total well volume of 190µL and a recommended working volume of 25 to 125µL
  • Bottom is 60% thinner than conventional polystyrene plates, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340nm
  • Nonbinding (NBS) surface is a treatment technology used on polystyrene microplates to create a nonionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) that minimizes molecular interactions
  • Ideal for reducing protein and nucleic acid binding at low concentrations, and increasing assay signal to noise; designed to reduce well-to-well crosstalk during fluorescent assays
  • Case of 100
  • Manufacturer Part No: COR-3884

Details

This Corning® 96 well half area white polystyrene microplate has half the growth area of a standard 96 well plate. It has clear flat-bottom round shaped wells with a total well volume of 190µL and a recommended working volume of 25 to 125µL. The well bottom is 60% thinner than conventional polystyrene plates, resulting in lower background fluorescence and enabling readings down to 340nm. Designed to reduce well-to-well crosstalk during luminescent assays. Can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments. Nonbinding (NBS) surface is a Corning proprietary treatment technology used on polystyrene microplates to create a nonionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) that minimizes molecular interactions. Ideal for reducing protein and nucleic acid binding at low concentrations, and increasing assay signal to noise. Conforms to standard microplate footprint and dimensions. Nonsterile. Lid Supplied Separately. Material: Polystyrene. Plate Format: 96 Well Half Area. Plate Feature: Half Area. Plate Color: Clear Bottom White. Well Bottom: Flat. Well Bottom Color: Clear. Well Shape: Round. Well Volume: 190µL. Recommended Working Volume: 25 to 125µL. Surface Treatment: NBS Treated. Corning® #: 3884.
