This Corning® 384-well optical imaging black polystyrene microplate has clear flat-bottom square shaped wells with a total well volume of 112µL and a recommended working volume of 20 to 80µL. It has a cell growth area of 0.06cm2, with a recommended medium well volume of 25 to 50µL. It is ideal for whole cell or subcellular high content screening. It can be used with high throughput confocal imagers, and has been optimized with the Amersham InCell 3000 Analyzer. The ultra flat thick well bottom is designed for high throughput imaging by minimizing microscope refocusing from well to well, making it more economical than glass bottom plates. It has better cell growth and attachment than glass bottom plates. The black opaque walls prevent well-to-well crosstalk. The sterile microplate is TC-treated for optimal cell attachment.
