It has an approximate cell growth surface area of 500cm2, with actual inside bottom surface dimensions of 224 x 224mm and an inside height of 18mm. It is not treated for cell attachment, for applications where cell attachment is not desired. Sterilized by gamma radiation and certified nonpyrogenic. Compatible with automated colony picking instruments. Patented (U.S. Patent No. 5,856,176) design allows for easier handling. Sterile. Disposable. With Handles. Material: Polystyrene.
