This Corning® natural colored cryogenic vial is made from polypropylene to withstand temperatures to -196°C. It has a 2mL capacity and a round bottom with a self-standing design. The orange polypropylene cap is internally threaded and comes with a silicone washer for a secure seal. Features include black graduations and larger marking spots for easier filling and sample identification, and a special base design that allows the vial to be locked into a cryogenic rack and tray for single-handed manipulation. Vial may be color coded with inserts. Sterilized by gamma irradiation, and is certified nonpyrogenic and RNase/DNase-Free. This is the suggested replacement for Corning® Item Number 2028. Sterile.
