Details

This blue-colored Eppendorf® twin.tec™ 96-well low profile PCR plate is unskirted with a 150µL maximum well volume. The divisible PCR plate gives the advantages of a standard twin.tec™ plus the flexibility to divide the plate into segments of 24 wells each. The polycarbonate (PC) frame enhances the mechanical stability and facilitates handling for the twin.tec™ PCR plate and polypropylene (PP) gives the wells an inert surface that prevents DNA, RNA, and enzymes from binding to improve recovery even when working with low volumes. The Eppendorf® twin.tec™ PCR plate offers wells of reduced wall thickness. This guarantees a snug fit of the well to the thermal block and ensures optimal heat transfer. Raised well rims optimize sealing effectiveness and reduce the risk of cross-contamination. The OptiTrack® matrix features high contrast labeling of alphanumeric grid for easier identification of the wells and orientation of the plate. The divisible plate has perforated edges that allow for easy segmentation without having to cut the plates, leaving no sharp edges. It is easy to use just part of the plate and save the rest for another experiment. The plate is chemically resistant to typical PCR reagents and chemicals. It can be centrifuged up to 2250 x g in a swing-out rotor. Certified to be free of any detectable human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors. Store in dry conditions at room temperature, keeping out of sun and UV light. Autoclavable. Plate Type: Low Profile PCR Plate. Feature: Divisible Into Segments Of 24 Wells. Well Material: Polypropylene (PP). Plate Deck Material: Polycarbonate (PC). Number Of Wells: 96-Well. Skirted: Unskirted. Color: Blue. Bar Coded: No. Application Temperature: -80 To 121°C. Maximum Well Volume: 150µL. Eppendorf® #: 0030133382.
