This Eppendorf® Model 5810 centrifuge with a 4 x 250mL swing-bucket rotor offers a powerful, maintenance-free motor, and can also accommodate a variety of rotors to meet your application needs. It is three centrifuges in one: a high-capacity, general-purpose centrifuge for cell harvesting; a high-speed centrifuge for separating cell lysates; and a microcentrifuge for DNA precipitations. In addition to the included 4 x 250mL swing-bucket rotor, Model 5810 can also offer maximum application versatility and popular tube capacity, accommodating up to 4 x 400mL tubes or 16 microplates.
This compact, bench top centrifuge achieves remarkable throughput of up to 48 x 15mL or 20 x 50mL conical tubes. Spins up to 14,000rpm, or 20,800 x g, and allows values to be changed during centrifugation. Safety is ensured by automatic rotor recognition that senses rotor type to set maximum allowable speed.
