This 15-415 phenolic screw thread closure with a PTFE-faced white rubber liner is made of a special black phenolic material (wood filled) that is very resistant to the effects of temperature and steam encountered in autoclaving. Cemented-in polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) faced rubber liner is provided. Cement used has also been selected to retain its adhesive properties during autoclaving. Designed from ASTM Specification E982. intended for use with Kimble® KIM-73785 disposable centrifuge tubes. Autoclavable. Material: Phenolic. Color: Black. Liner Material: PTFE-Faced White Rubber.
