This hydrolysis/derivatization vial for proteins and peptides has been designed to interface with the Waters PICO-TAG™ Work Station. It features a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) cap with a chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE) screw-type on-off valve. The PTFE flap that makes the cap-to-vial seal is backed up by a fluoroelastomer O-ring to prevent leaks that could occur through "cold flow" of the PTFE. Vial holds twelve 6 x 50mm sample tubes. This vial can also be used independently of the PICO-TAG™ work station as a versatile reaction vial for protein hydrolysis and derivatization. Not Recommended for use over 150°C.
