Millipore matched-weight Fluid Contamination Monitors eliminate test filter pre-weighing in gravimetric analysis. Each monitor contains two membrane filters matched in weight to within 0.1mg. Sample passes through both, but upper (test) filter retains all contaminant. The difference in filter weights, after drying, equals the weight of contaminant in sample. Transparent, disposable filter holders made from Tenite® plastic and pre-assembled with MF-Millipore mixed cellulose esters membrane filters. Effective filtration area is 9cm2. This contamination analysis monitor features a thick 34mm cellulose pad between the monitor sections which seals the filter to distribute sample flow evenly over the filter surface. Special thick pad supports the filter at high differential pressures. Fluid contamination analyis monitor is designed for use with the Millipore Fluid Contamination Analysis Sampling Kit (See Item# MIL-XX6403730).
