Millipore Millex® HV PB automation syringe filters are designed for use with Zymark® liquid automation workstations. Filters include a glass fiber prefilter for samples with high particulate levels. These automation syringe filters are ideal for clarifying aqueous and mild organic sample solutions. While competing brands of automation syringe filters have a square edge on the housing that can jam in the dispensing carousel, Millipore Millex brand syringe filters have a domed housing to ensure reliable delivery. Also, while other brands of syringe filters feature Luer slip outlets which can have unwanted angular movement, Millipore has optimized the Luer-Lok connection on their automation syringe filters to ensure precise alignment and smooth functioning. Automation compatible filters from Millipore are subject to stringent quality controls, including tests to ensure the filter housing can withstand backpressure from the filtration station.
