This polypropylene syringe filter with Teflon® PTFE membrane is used for filtration of aggressive chemicals including acids and non-aqueous solvents such as those used in GC and HPLC and for filtration of air and gases. The hydrophobic Teflon® PTFE membrane must be wet with alcohol before use with aqueous solutions. Sample volume range is 2-10mL with a 0.2µm filter pore size. The filter is supplied in a non-sterile polypropylene housing. WARNING! All Nalgene® Filterware is for research use only not for in vitro diagnosis or parenteral. Non-sterile.
