This sterile 2.0mL micro packaging vial is molded from high purity amber-colored polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) resin. Amber vial provides protection for light sensitive reagents. It is noncytotoxic, nonpyrogenic, and has a low-metal content. The vial is skirted and features a conical interior to allow recovery of entire contents. Several closure options exist to customize the final product (closures sold separately). The vials and closures are pressure-tested together at 7.5psig (51.7kPa) for air shipment. Vials and closures meet requirements of FDA CFR21 177.1520 for food and beverage use, and are USP Class VI compliant. Disposable, single-use vial can be centrifuged at 13,000 x g. Provided sterile (gamma-irradiated) and ready to fill. The vial is ideal for air shipment of small-volume reagents and for many diagnostic kit applications. Sterile.
