This modified polypropylene housing syringe filter with a surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) membrane is useful for cold sterilization of aqueous solutions biological or immunological samples and excellent for cell culture media components. The surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) membrane has no wetting agents to affect sensitive cell culture lines and is cleaner than an ordinary CA membrane for tissue culture use. The sample volume range is 10-50mL with a 0.2µm filter pore size. The filter exhibits low protein binding with low extractables and is supplied in sterile blister packs. The membrane is contained in a polypropylene housing with the pore size and membrane type printed on the unit. This filter unit should not be autoclaved. WARNING!
