The Streptavidin is covalently bound to the surface. It is ready to use - no blocking steps. It has excellent binding capacity (e.g. F96 clear 20 pmol/well-- depending on size or sterical properties of a given biomolecule the actual molar binding capacity might be different). There is minimal leaching of coupled biomolecules from the surface. The binding site is easily accessible. Low non-specific binding and high signal to noise ratio. Stable at room temperature. Low reagent consumption. White and black plates for luminescence or fluorescence applications and 384 well plates available. Comes without a lid. Non-Sterile. Material: Polystyrene (PS).
