Ohaus Valor 5000 NTEP Certified Compact Industrial Portion Scale 15000g x 2g. Designed for use in general weighing, basic checkweighing and food preparation where food certification is required. The Ohaus Valor 5000 is a rugged, multi-use scale designed for use in a wide variety of preparation and service applications. Ideally suited for food portioning and check weighing, the Valor 5000 Scale combines lightning fast display updates, a smooth easy to clean shape, and high precision load cells. The Valor 5000 is right at home in restaurants, bakeries, food manufacturing and all other areas requiring fast operation, spill resistant design, and flexible cordless battery operation. NSF listed/certified to NSF/ANSI 169-2005 (formerly NSF C-2) and USDA-AMS accepted to NSF/3-A 14159-1; supports HACCP compliance. Features 1:3000 NTEP certified and Measurement Canada approved resolutions. Featuring easy-to-use four-button membrane switch operation with intuitive man-machine interface, a 7-segment 5-digit 0.75" high LCD with blue backlit, multiple weighing units and three application modes. The Valor 5000 can be set up to display all, some, or only one weighing unit to match the requirements of your operation. The unit displayed can be changed with a single key press. The Valor 5000 can be set to the mode and weighing units required, and then locked-in using either software or hardware locks. The Valor 5000’s software menu allows the Valor 5000 to be calibrated to ensure accurate results. To prevent accidental recalibration, the Valor 5000 also can be configured using software and hardware calibration lockouts. The Valor 5000 can be set to either simply display a weight, or can be set to act as a dedicated, low-profile checkweigher for portioning and grading. Audible buzzer alerts user when limits are reached. 4-bar battery status indicator with low-battery warning. Bright annunciators for scale stability, center of zero, net and tare weights, checkweighing mode indication. The Valor 5000 can be tared manually using the large, dedicated tare key. The Valor 5000 can be set-up to automatically tare the first weight placed on the pan. Also includes non-slip rubber user-adjustable leveling feet, spillproof front panel leveling bubble, weight/mode stability/center of zero/net weight/tare weight/text unit indication, selectable scale auto-off and sealable scale configuration. Operational features include Selectable environmental averaging settings and user selectable Off, 0.5, 1 or 3 divisions auto-zero tracking. Four-button keypad with dedicated YES, NO, BACK and EXIT functions simplify menu navigation and balance set-up. Its stainless steel platform and removable wind ring make it extremely easy to clean.
