This Thermo Scientific® ELED student hotplate requires 120V and is ideal for laboratories where an inexpensive heat source is needed and bench space is scarce. Ruggedly built to withstand continuous usage. Cast aluminum heating surface reaches a top temperature of 371°C (700°F) in less than 7 1/2 minutes. The nickel-chromium heating element is embedded in special heat-conducting refractory material for maximum protection. Stepless, thermostatic control allows selection of temperature from approximately 38° to 371°C (100° to 700°F). Perforated stainless steel case allows air to circulate to protect controls and counter top from excess heat. Complete with 1.5m (5in) three-wire cord and plug.
