Details

This HybriLinker™ hybridization oven with crosslinker is self-contained unit provides the unique combination of a hybridization oven and a 254nm ultraviolet crosslinker. Ideal for Southern, Northern, and Western blots; in situ hybridization; and binding nucleic acids to Nitrocellulose or Nylon-reinforced transfer membranes or other media. The unit features precise microprocessor rotation speed and temperature control. An internal circulating fan maintains temperature uniformity, and a large LED display shows the current chamber temperature. Internal Stainless Steel construction enables the environment to be kept clean. Accommodates multiple bottle sizes, arrangements, and offset positions to meet a variety of mixing requirements. Rotary wheel holds twenty 35 x 150mm bottles, ten 35 x 300mm bottles, or a combination of both sizes. To accommodate larger samples, an optional carousel kit allows upto four 70 x 300mm bottles to be saturated simultaneously. Bottles are Borosilicate Glass and come with a Polypropylene cap with a Polytetrafluoroethylene seal. Rotary wheel can be removed and replaced with a rocker tray or rocker plate to create a rocking motion and to accommodate various types of flasks. Ultraviolet crosslinker portion of the HybriLinker™ provides uniform shortwave (254nm) ultraviolet radiation exposure maintained by five 254nm UV tubes. UV output is measured by an internal sensor and is controlled by an on-board microprocessor. The crosslinker features an internal interlocking system for added safety, tactile membrane keypad. The hybridization oven and crosslinker components have separate power supplies and may operate independently. ETL and ETLc safety certified. HL-2000 Model. 24 H x 17.5 W x 15in D Exterior. 10.75 H x 14 W x 10.75in D Interior, 10 to 15 rpm, 1250w Heating Element. Ambient +10 to 99.9°C Operation Range. +0.1°C Temperature Controller Accuracy. +0.3 to 68°C Inside Oven Temperature Stability. +0.1 to 68°C Inside Bottle Temperature Stability. +0.1 to 68°C Inside Oven Temperature Uniformity. +0.1 to 68°C Inside Bottle Temperature Uniformity. Twenty 35 x 150mm, Ten 35 x 300mm Bottle Capacity. 999,900µJ/cm² Max. UV Energy Setting. 3.75 H x 11.37 W x 11.5in D Crosslinker Interior Dimensions. 8-watt Shortwave UV (254nm) Bipin Discharge Tubes. 27.2kg Weight. 115V. 60Hz. UVP® #: 95-0031-01.
