Explosion-Proof Variable Speed Mid-Range Reciprocal Shaker for general purpose shaking in hazardous locations. Class I Group D, and Class II, Groups E, F, and G. Motor is tested and labeled by the Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Must be wired in accordance with local electrical code. Designed for ease of use and maintenance. This heavy-duty unit operates in a space of 33½ x 20" and is powered by a 1/6hp GE split phase motor which drives the platform through a mechanical transmission utilizing a variable pitch pulley system incorporating a V-belt drive. Speed control is continuously variable between a range of 60-260osc/minute. However, at a given setting the speed is constant, and is not affected by normal line voltage fluctuations. The horizontal stroke is fixed at 1½", and the unit has a max load carrying capacity of 50lb. Available accessories include flask holders, separatory funnel holders and utility box carriers.
