The rack holds 20 single slides, with 19 slides arranged alternately straight across and diagonally, or 20 slides back-to-back of standard size. Holds slides measuring 3 x 1in (75 x 25mm), 3 x 1.5in (75 x 38mm), and 3 x 2in (75 x 51mm). Manufactured from soda-lime glass. Complete kit contains the staining dish, cover, rack, and handle.
