When Lee Williams started a new company in 1963, he could not have known that someday he would hire and mentor his future grandson, and in fact would entrust the company to Felix when he purchased Capitol Scientific in 2000. Capitol Scientific has flourished under Felix’s vision and leadership, being ranked in the Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 for 2012, and the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies in both 2011 and 2012. The company has expanded its facilities and its employee base as revenues continue to grow year-on-year. Felix was also honored as a finalist in 2012 ABJ’s Best CEO in Central Texas. A fan of the University of Texas Longhorns, Felix’s spare time is spent with his family, including three young children, and he is an avid golfer.
Michael has long been a part of the Capitol Scientific family. He worked for Capitol Scientific under its founder, Lee Williams, and after successful tenures with Ashland, AZ Electronic Materials and ATMI, he returned to Capitol Scientific to work with Lee’s grandson, Felix Ware. Michael’s focus is to manage business development in the delivery of its key objectives: sales cycle management, strategic business development, contract and partnership negotiation, and global client management. He has been instrumental in achieving an impressive expansion of Capitol Scientific’s client base, and is in part responsible for our inclusion on the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies. In his spare time, Michael enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.

In his time off, Charles keeps fit by attending spin classes regularly, and few people know this, but he fancies himself quite the pool shark! Don’t bet against him next time you see him with a cue stick!
Capitol Scientific has been Kelly’s happy home for most of his career. He has been with Capitol Scientific for over a decade, first providing customer service before transitioning to outside sales and then to his current position as sales manager. He really enjoys working with his customers and greatly values his relationships. Kelly graduated from Missouri State with a BS degree in environmental studies, but is a confirmed TCU Horned Frog football freak stemming all the way back to his first year in little league football. He has a 13 year old daughter, Natalie.
Larissa Bush joined Capitol Scientific as a Sales Engineer with an extensive semiconductor background, with experience in both capital equipment and wet process chemicals. Prior to joining our team, Larissa was an applications engineer with STI (a spin-off of Texas Instruments) where she acted as liaison between sales and engineering. In this role she assisted Tier 1 semiconductor customers worldwide in qualification of wafer inspection tools, growing the business by conducting equipment performance demonstrations based on customer process parameters. Larissa has also served as applications engineer with JT Baker Microelectronics and serviced US customers in qualifying photoresist strippers and copper compatible etch residue removal chemistries. Larissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She resides in Dallas with her husband and two children, and occasionally still finds time to swim competitively.
